Hello! I’m Marzena, and together with my husband Nigel, we are the owners of Ma Ma Boutique Bakery, our treasured family-owned artisan haven nestled in Chiswick, West London.

Both of us understand the trials of being coeliac and gluten-intolerant firsthand. How often have you craved gluten-free bread that delights your taste buds, feels just right, and nourishes you? We’ve been there, and that’s what inspired our bakery journey – a commitment to creating treats that never sacrifice flavour or well-being

While I dive into baking, Nigel manages the front of house, ensuring every guest feels at home. The best part? Everything is gluten-free and baked fresh right where you see it.

We blend tradition with innovation, creating new, feel good classics. We believe that bread should be created the old-fashioned way, using only natural ingredients from the finest sources and long fermentation methods without compromising on taste and texture.

The name “Ma Ma Boutique Bakery” holds a special place in our hearts. “Ma” pays tribute to both me, Marzena, and my beloved sister Margaret, whose memory we cherish after her unfortunate passing due to Covid. The “boutique” signifies our personal touch, an embodiment of our tastes and the love we pour into every creation.

As I often reflect, “By intertwining Ma from my name and Ma from Margaret, we ensure she remains a part of our journey always.” So, whenever you indulge in our bakery delights, know that you’re sharing a piece of our heart and story.

“My love affair with baking began when my grandfather taught me how to bake the perfect loaf when I was a little girl. Being raised in the traditions of his baking, for me, there is nothing better or more comforting than the smell, taste, and texture of freshly baked bread.

I started to work on gluten-free recipes after switching to a gluten-free diet for health reasons later in my life. All of a sudden, bread was something that was denied to me. I struggled to find a gluten-free alternative that was to my liking, so I decided to bake my own.

At the Ma Ma Boutique Bakery in West London, we only use the very best, gluten-free, whenever possible naturally organic ingredients in order to deliver gluten-free bread and other bakes of exacting quality direct to you. All our products can be enjoyed by everyone, especially those with medical conditions that require a gluten-free diet, including sufferers of coeliac disease.
